Frank's Road

The award winning documentary Frank's Road tells the incredible true life story of Frank Buckley, a seemingly unremarkable bus driver from Dublin. Born in difficult circumstances in Drimnagh in the 1960s, Frank's journey through life took him from working in the music business, to founding an international charity and becoming an acclaimed modern artist (among other things) all the while battling the persistent demon of substance abuse. Frank's remarkable journey is a testament to the fact that none of us have to settle for mediocrity and that we can all achieve our dreams no matter what our starting point in life may be.

Frank's Road was honoured with the award for Best Short Documentary at the Art of Recovery film festival in Lake Worth Florida in November 2024.
